- If your account or content was actioned, contact support and choose Appeal / moderation review.
- SameHive may not disclose all safety signals, but you can provide context for review.
- Do not create new accounts to bypass a restriction while an appeal is pending.
FAQ
Will the person know I reported them?
Reports are handled confidentially where possible. SameHive does not disclose unnecessary reporter details to the reported account.
What happens after I block someone?
Blocking limits visibility and messaging paths between the accounts according to SameHive product and safety rules.
Can I report offline behavior?
Yes. Unsafe offline behavior connected to SameHive or a venue interaction can affect account standing.
Is blocking enough if there was a threat?
No. Block to limit contact, report the threat to SameHive, and contact local emergency services first if there is immediate danger.
Can I appeal a moderation decision?
Yes. Use the contact form and choose Appeal / moderation review. Include your account email, ticket IDs, and a concise explanation.
What evidence should I include in a report?
Include profile details, chat context, venue name, approximate date and time, screenshots if safe, and whether authorities or venue staff were contacted.
Can SameHive tell me exactly what action was taken?
SameHive may limit what it shares to protect privacy, safety signals, and investigation integrity, but reports are reviewed under policy.
What should I do if someone creates a new account after being blocked?
Block the new account and report it as possible block evasion or harassment. Include the original account context if you have it.
