Safety Center

Tools and policies for safer venue-aware discovery.

Use this hub to understand reporting, blocking, privacy controls, verification, moderation review, and urgent safety guidance.

Report safety concerns

Report profiles, chats, venue behavior, impersonation, harassment, threats, scams, or moderation appeals.

Block and decline

Block removes visibility and messaging paths. Decline limits repeated discovery without creating drama.

Privacy controls

Control visibility with check-in rules, Buffer Zone, incognito, blur, and profile settings.

Verification signals

Verification helps reduce fake profiles and gives members stronger context before interacting.

Safety articles

Specific guidance for common risk scenarios.

These articles give members, reviewers, and support teams direct paths for reporting, blocking, impersonation, scams, harassment, venue incidents, consent, and emergency resources.

When to report

  • Harassment, threats, hate, sexual pressure, stalking, or intimidation.
  • Fake profile, impersonation, scam, spam, phishing, or payment fraud.
  • Unsafe offline behavior connected to SameHive or a venue interaction.
  • Moderation appeals when you believe an enforcement decision needs review.

What happens after a report

SameHive reviews available account, profile, chat, payment, and safety signals. Depending on severity, SameHive may remove content, limit visibility, suspend accounts, preserve records, or ask for more information.

If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first. SameHive support is not an emergency response service.
