Security
Security is part of member trust.
SameHive uses account, privacy, support, and safety controls to protect members and platform integrity.
Security priorities
- Protect account access, login methods, and credential reset flows.
- Limit misuse of venue, location, messaging, purchase, and support systems.
- Preserve relevant evidence for safety, fraud, legal, and abuse investigations.
- Keep production secrets, support webhooks, and operational credentials out of the client.
Report a vulnerability
- Send security reports to support@samehiveapp.com with Security in the subject.
- Include reproduction steps, affected URL or app surface, impact, and safe proof of concept details.
- Do not access, modify, exfiltrate, or disclose member data while testing.
Responsible testing
- Avoid denial-of-service, spam, social engineering, phishing, physical attacks, and privacy-invasive testing.
- Do not test against accounts, venues, or members you do not own or have permission to assess.
- SameHive may restrict accounts that create risk during unapproved testing.
