Security

Security is part of member trust.

SameHive uses account, privacy, support, and safety controls to protect members and platform integrity.

Security priorities

  • Protect account access, login methods, and credential reset flows.
  • Limit misuse of venue, location, messaging, purchase, and support systems.
  • Preserve relevant evidence for safety, fraud, legal, and abuse investigations.
  • Keep production secrets, support webhooks, and operational credentials out of the client.

Report a vulnerability

  • Send security reports to support@samehiveapp.com with Security in the subject.
  • Include reproduction steps, affected URL or app surface, impact, and safe proof of concept details.
  • Do not access, modify, exfiltrate, or disclose member data while testing.

Responsible testing

  • Avoid denial-of-service, spam, social engineering, phishing, physical attacks, and privacy-invasive testing.
  • Do not test against accounts, venues, or members you do not own or have permission to assess.
  • SameHive may restrict accounts that create risk during unapproved testing.
