This policy explains the information SameHive collects, why it is used, and the controls available to members.

Information we collect
- Account details such as name, email, login method, age eligibility, settings, and support history.
- Profile content such as photos, prompts, preferences, verification signals, and privacy settings.
- Venue and location-related information needed for check-ins, Buffer Zone, abuse prevention, and product functionality.
- Chat, report, block, decline, moderation, device, payment, and diagnostic information.
How we use information
SameHive uses information to provide venue-aware discovery, personalize the product, process purchases, maintain safety, prevent fraud, enforce Community Guidelines, respond to support requests, improve reliability, and comply with legal obligations.
Sharing
We may share limited information with service providers, payment platforms, analytics and security providers, legal or safety channels when required, and other members according to your visibility settings. We do not sell private chat content.
Retention and deletion
We keep information for as long as needed to provide SameHive, maintain safety and platform integrity, resolve disputes, comply with law, and support accounting or payment obligations. Account deletion can be requested in-app or at /delete-account.
Your choices
- Update profile details and privacy settings in the app.
- Use block, report, decline, incognito, blur, and Buffer Zone controls where available.
- Request access, correction, deletion, portability, objection, or restriction through /data-rights.
