Content Review and Filtering

SameHive uses automated signals, human moderation, reporting, and blocking to reduce objectionable user-generated content.

What may be screened

  • Profile names, bios, prompts, photos, links, chat messages, Hive Room messages, reports, and support context may be checked for policy violations.
  • Filtering may happen before content becomes visible, after content is posted, or when a member reports something.
  • Automated systems may flag nudity, sexual exploitation, hate, threats, harassment, spam, scams, impersonation, child safety concerns, illegal offers, and links to unsafe content.

Human moderation

  • Moderators may review flagged or reported profiles, photos, chats, room messages, account signals, and venue context.
  • SameHive may remove content, limit visibility, warn users, suspend accounts, terminate accounts, preserve records, or escalate serious concerns.
  • Severe or repeated violations can affect account standing even if the behavior happened around a venue or after a chat moved off-platform.

Member controls

  • Members can report objectionable profiles, chats, room messages, scams, threats, impersonation, or unsafe venue behavior.
  • Members can block accounts to limit visibility and messaging paths where product rules support it.
  • Members and non-members can contact SameHive support at support@samehiveapp.com if in-app tools are not available.

FAQ

Does SameHive review every message before it appears?

Not every item is manually reviewed before it appears. SameHive may use automated filtering, post-publication review, member reports, and human moderation depending on risk, account signals, and product surface.

What should I do if objectionable content appears?

Use report and block controls in the app when available, or contact SameHive support with the profile, chat, room, venue, date, and what happened.

Can content be removed after it was already visible?

Yes. SameHive may remove or restrict content after review and may preserve limited records for safety, legal compliance, fraud prevention, or abuse investigation.
